POSTPARTUM SUPPORT that works best for you

See below for a description of the scope of services provided as well as pricing packages. We’ll discuss your priorities so you have peace of mind to enjoy the early days with your baby

MY services include:

1

Emotional Support

Postpartum doulas are here to help you emotionally during these early days of transition. I’m here to listen without judgement as you process your experience, and provide encouragement to help you feel confident in your parenting choices. Strong postpartum emotional support can also help reduce the risk of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders.

2

Physical Support

The early days after giving birth can be exhausting and overwhelming. Having a postpartum doula there to provide suggestions, resources, and just bring you a snack can help with postpartum recovery. You can feel cared for and secure knowing someone is there to care specifically for you and what you need so you’re able to focus on your baby.

*Postpartum doulas are not medical professionals and cannot offer medical advice or answer medical questions. Please refer to your medical team for all healthcare questions*

3

Infant Feeding Support

Choosing how to feed your baby can sometimes feel fraught and overwhelming. Postpartum doulas can provide support, education, and resources so you can feel confident in your choice of how to feed your baby. No matter what method you choose, I can help provide support, advice, and professional referrals if needed.

4

Sibling Care

The introduction of a new baby can be exciting but also sometimes challenging for older siblings. Balancing the needs of a newborn and an older child can be tough for a parent. I can help provide support and guidance for all family members to feel confident and secure in their roles and place in the family.

5

Newborn Care Education

Some new parents have never held or spent extended time with a newborn, and it can feel overwhelming to suddenly be responsible for the health and safety of this new human. Postpartum doulas are trained in newborn care techniques including feeding, soothing, and infant sleep. I can provide expertise and guidance so you can feel confident in caring for your baby.

6

Basic Household Support

Having a postpartum doula to help with basic household tasks can support both mental and physical health. Having help with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation can take those tasks off your mind so you can focus on your baby.

7

Meal Preparation

Proper nutrition and healthy meals are important for new parents and especially key for breastfeeding mothers. While caring for a newborn it can be tough to make time to even grab a snack! I will help with meal preparation and cooking while you focus on your baby.

8

Partner Support

Partners of birthing parents also benefit from postpartum doula support. Having someone on hand to handle day to day needs leaves more time for partners to spend bonding with the baby. Partners are also at risk for postpartum mood disorders and benefit from similar support as the birthing parent.
